Cancellation Policy
At Expressions of Love Florist, many of our products are made fresh to order and delivered on a time-sensitive basis. The following cancellation terms apply:
Order Cancellations (Standard Orders)
- Orders may be canceled or modified with at least 24–48 hours notice prior to the scheduled delivery date if the order has not entered production, including but not limited to design, preparation, or dispatch for delivery.
- Orders cannot be canceled or refunded once they have entered production, including but not limited to design, preparation, or dispatch for delivery.
Same-Day & Rush Orders
- Same-day and rush orders are final once placed
- These orders are processed immediately and cannot be canceled or modified
Subscription Orders
When you purchase a subscription, you are enrolling in recurring deliveries based on your selected schedule.
- Subscription orders are billed automatically according to your selected plan
- You may manage, skip, or cancel future deliveries through your customer portal or by calling our office at 919-552-4512.
Important:
- Changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to the next scheduled billing or delivery date, and prior to entering production, including but not limited to design, preparation, or dispatch for delivery.
- Orders already processed or in preparation cannot be canceled or refunded
Initial 30 Day Commitment (No Early Cancellation)
All subscriptions require a minimum commitment of thirty (30) days from the date of the initial order.
Subscriptions may not be canceled, modified, or terminated during this initial 30-day period.
If a customer requests cancellation within the first 30 days for any reason, the request will be treated as a pricing adjustment rather than a cancellation. The customer will be responsible for paying the difference between the discounted subscription pricing and the standard retail pricing for all products and/or services received during that period. This amount will be charged to the original payment method on file.
Subscription Payments
All subscriptions must be paid using a valid credit or debit card. By purchasing a subscription, the customer expressly authorizes us to automatically charge the payment method on file for all recurring orders, including any applicable price adjustments, fees, or outstanding balances. The customer agrees to maintain accurate and up-to-date payment information at all times. By completing a subscription purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these recurring billing terms.
Pre-Orders (If Applicable)
- Pre-orders may be canceled prior to fulfillment
- Once a pre-order has been processed or prepared, it is subject to our standard cancellation and refund policies
Non-Cancelable Items
The following items cannot be canceled once processing has begun:
- Floral arrangements and perishable products
- Custom or personalized orders
- Holiday and high-volume event orders (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day)
- Same-day or rush orders
Refunds
Refunds are not issued for canceled orders that fall outside the allowed cancellation window.
